AMERICAN DRESS CODE was founded in 2015 by David Mechaly and launched officially in Spring of 2015 with partner Audrey Ruth. In 1970, David Mechaly introduced the first premium denim brand to the marketplace. MAC KEEN JEANS, launched in St. Tropez, France and quickly became one of the most celebrated labels of the seventies worn by Farrah Fawcett and the cast of Charlie's Angels, Brigitte Bardot and Jaqueline Bisset to name a few. MAC KEEN JEANS print advertisments also debuted fashion's fresh new face at the time - model Jerry Hall. Hollywood heavyweights like Steve Mc Queen frequented the Mac Keen boutique on Rodeo Drive where Cartier now resides. In 1999 Mechaly launched Blue Cult Jeans which gained worldwide attention when Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted wearing their cargo pocket style jeans to a Calvin Klein fashion show.
The Creative Studio developed all branding components for premium denim brand AMERICAN DRESS CODE with partners David Mechaly and Audrey Ruth on the choice of trims, executed the lookbook, website and all marketing materials.
The Creative Studio is currently pursuing press opportunities for this emerging brand with a rich history in the denim market.
